Bringing the focus closer to home, the creators tell the story of four teenagers from Hartford whose lives are turned upside down. While working on a school history project, the characters stumble into a web of deception spun by a criminal syndicate. It will take all of their wits and courage to get out in once piece. . . and when they do there’s still homework to finish!

Background: Ben Ramos attended Hartford's Quark Middle School until he received an arts scholarship to The Wilkens School in the second semester of his eighth grade year. He has shown exceptional skill in illustration, painting and sculpting. In the evening Ben attends the Greater Hartford Karate School where he is working towards his black belt. Ben is currently in 9th grade with a B average.

Background: Sandy McPherson was accepted to The Wilkens School in seventh grade with a full scholarship in math/science. There she received high honors, making the Dean's List every semester. While her focus is math and science, Sandy is also a member of the A/V club, debate team, yearbook committee and student council. After school Sandy often helps her father salvage machines and parts for resale at their family business, the South End Junk & Salvage Yard. She is currently in 9th grade with an A+ average.

Background: John Baily began attending The Wilkens School in sixth grade. His interests include creative writing, drawing and community Service. Due to his slight frame and persistent asthma, John does not excel in physical activity and has never been a member of an athletic team. Instead he spends his afternoons as captain of The Wilkens School Debate Team. John is currently in 9th grade with an A- average.

Background: Lauren Whitaker was accepted to The Wilkens School in sixth grade, one year after the completion of the Whitaker Performance Hall. Donations from her parents funded the building's construction and it now bares the family name. Since her early middle school years Lauren has struggled academically, putting her efforts towards socialization. While the grades in her core subjects may be poor, she has received high marks in Drama and Theatrical Arts. Lauren is currently in 9th grade with a C average.
